Absoulutely Hilarious!

That was really great guys. You should definetely make more Retard Bobs. That was funny as hell.

Lacked, but is good none the less

Okay Firth, it looks like you've finally filled everyone's satisfaction to post the latest Burnt Face Man. And you did okay. But the other episodes were better. Know why? Mostly because of the humor. The story overall sucked. I know you're trying to be funny and i would've laughed at the animation a little more than just simply chuckling if the humor wasnt so bland. The straight-face voicing of Burnt Face Man together with homosexual jokes start getting old by the end. Yes this is the first David Firth episode, of any, to quietly decrease it's "humor-factor" by the end.
On the real animation side it was full of the usual David Firth trademark squiggly pencil-in character models with lots of movie clips and graphics to suit them as "animated." I dont know whether its the crudely posed arms or not but a few times it looked like the characters moved their arms without any ease at all. It just looked like a tween.
But I will give you the syncing. I cant sync voicing for shit on flash and you do it very well. That of course makes up for the tweened animation. No F-B-F really ever shows here unless its a couple of quick explosions.
Of course you style is very good though. This episode still keeps a nice grungey dark humorous feel as all of the Firth Episodes have. Thats probably what makes all your cartoons so administrativley addicting to watch. I've actually watched the black and white paper drawn animations a few times on end just because they had such a dark feel to them. Oh and coming from an American, I absoulutely love your british voice. It just helps the grungey feel.
Well I listed the pro and cons. Im not sure if you'll actually read this but thats the main jist of it. Oh and for the latest Salad Fingers (I know you'll hate this) i gave it an easy 10. That had some amazing graphics. This one lacked in that.
All in all 8/10 or really an 8.5/10 but you know the system of NG.

Keep it up, Firth. Make us happy.

Good stuff man. Great music video funk thing you got going on. The music was really good too. Plus the anything about the 70's is great stuff.

FINALLY!

Finally there is a valentines spoof animation worth watching. Thank you! Thank you!

You are great. You're style is very unique and interesting. The suspense toward the end was perfectly synched and very fun/funny to watch.

You're great. Keep on makin' 'em.

Pretty good actually

Pretty good dude. The graphics, etc. were pretty good. Im not much for the music, but it was still okay. The style was, as well, good.

What was your frame rate though? Just wondred.

Also, it was funny how the guy fell down into the ground into the coffin thing. it reminded me of kill bill volume 2. is that what it is referenced too?

Good job, anyways.

Make more man. You have potential.

TheHappySheep responds:

The frame rate was a very low 12fps actually.
The bit with the coffin wasn't really a direrct reference to Kill Bill but it did remind me of it when I drew it.
Thanks alot for your comments. I'm studying animation so I will definately make more. lol.

Okay...needs lots of work but if improved....

To say the least, it was sligthly original.
Your characters were....shapes. Blah, the whole graphics scheme was WAAYY too simple. It looks like you have a design of making shapes so if you have your characters as shapes, give them shadows, inner shadows, 3d dementions, etc...just make 'em look better.

As for the style, it was kind of original. But some of the humor...well theres always a majority of jokes with baseball bats and couches. Try making a new series with something totally random.

Oh also, the frame rate was GREAT!!! I give you major props for the smooth running. What was the frame rate anyways?

Also great lip syncing for beats.

Um, needs a lot of work really but once improved can be great!

Keep it up!

JacobMichaelCampbell responds:

Thanks for reviewing! Uh, 120 fps...yeah. Sorry to say it goes down to 12 after like 5 or 6 episodes. I have to keep it down to make non-tweening animation... There are a lot more coming that a made a while back. The graphics will get a better (the characters stay basically the same, but backgrounds and items will be more detailed). Funny thing with that is, I made them all in MS Paint originally and animated them with Windows Movie Maker. This cartoon is based off one of those I made. Thanks for the lip syncing too. This took me a year to make because of that (120 fps...shiver...).

Masterpiece!

Great stuff again, Firth. Your grunge-style stuff is inspiring. This episode was a bit boring but still contained a lot artistic effort. Great job.
Very funny with Salad Fingers singing his own little song at the end. Was there actaully a war where Salad Fingers lives?

You should continue the next episode explaining the war, and revealing the rest of Salad Finger's old friends.
